Usher syndrome affects an estimated 400,000 people worldwide. It’s also misdiagnosed by doctors 40% of the time. So, patient-led charity, Cure Usher Syndrome, came to us to help them create a piece of work that would raise awareness, without spreading fear.

So The Touchable Memory was created.

An emotional film where a device that transforms stimuli such as sound or music into tactile sensations, and we made two sisters experience music in the same way for the first time in decades.
